     "We had our wedding at Gar Woods this past week and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. Maia and Amy made the wedding planning processes easy, fun and stress-free. Gar Woods and their staff took care of setting up all of our decorations at the ceremony and reception sites as well as packing them up for us at the end of the night. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and running smoothly. Both Amy and Maia stayed at the reception and helped me keep the event moving and on point. The outside ceremony venue was gorgeous. Gar Woods had their staff clean the grass and wedding site to make it immaculate. Their efforts made for fantastic photos! They also set up all of our outside decorations so that our friends and family could enjoy the day free of having to worry about anything other than enjoying themselves (minus the arch, which is to be expected). The food was amazing and I am still getting compliments on how beautiful and tasty everything was! I loved the fact that we chose three main dishes and the guests picked what they wanted at the wedding, just like you would do at a restaurant. It made it easier for me to not have to keep track of what people ordered and it allowed the guests to not be tied down to something they picked months in advance. We had a fantastic time at Gar Woods and would 110% recommend them to anyone looking for a gorgeous, beach front, stress-free wedding on Lake Tahoe. The photos were fantastic too. Since our kids were very young we have always made a point to walk out on the pier after a meal no matter what time of year it is. Everything you suggested worked beautifully and the noise was not a problem at all with the glass divider doors to buffer the sound. You said it would be perfect and it was. The food was delicious and everything served so beautifully. Everyone commented on the excellence of the meals and the wait staff. The dessert was delicious! We want to compliment everyone involved. The three servers were so on top of everything and all our guests felt like they were well taken care of.  They even made sure they collected the little appetizer skewers from guests to keep them comfortable. We have always loved Gar Woods and eaten there many times in your dining room and out on the deck but when it is a group event things don't always turn out as nicely. Your restaurant and staff know how to plan an event and keep things running seamlessly. The tables looked beautiful and thank you for putting all the place cards out for us. That was a big help to us. We will recommend you to other friends and we will be back to see you. The Rehearsal Dinner was a start to a beautiful weekend and the most special wedding day.
